Guadalajara's Pride Parade

We celebrate love for Guadalajara

In addition to its incredible gastronomy and cultural offering, the characteristics of Guadalajara that those who visit us like most are Guadalajara hospitality; make each person feel at home.

Thus, inclusion has not been left behind since, for several years, La Perla Tapatia has been characterized as an LGBTTTIQ+ tourist destination in Mexico thanks to the promotion of activities and events that make sexual diversity visible.

That being said, you might imagine that we spent the month of June celebrating Pride month, but the truth is that here we celebrate the love for Guadalajara in all its forms all year round. Join us in our current guide!

Love for Chapultepec Avenue

If we think about a part of Guadalajara that most represents inclusion, it is, without a doubt, Chapultepec Avenue and its walkway.

Also known as the Zona Rosa, Paseo Chapultepec offers a wide variety of stalls where you can buy jewelry, books, candles, clothing; while enjoying an extensive list of restaurants ranging from fast food, cafes, breweries and international offerings.

And not only that, in Chapultepec, every day, you can live pleasant adventures until late into the night, with the bars and LGBTTTIQ+ clubs in the area.

Love for Guadalajara at night

It is known that throughout the metropolitan area there are very special bars and clubs, which invite you to celebrate with flirty cocktails and an incredible musical selection; Guadalajara, being a reference for LGBTTTIQ+ tourism, could not ignore not having nighttime spaces to dance.

Among the most recommended so-called gay bars recently is California’s Bar, a Mexican cantina-style establishment in the heart of La Perla Tapatia, which opens every day from six in the afternoon.

Another disco to dance until you drop is Babel, very close to the Exconvento del Carmen; The interesting thing about the proposal is that it has 4 different mood spaces: a bar, a terrace, an electronic music area and another for pop; Do you dare to visit it?

If witnessing a transvestite show catches your attention, be sure to check out the Green Light Bar, another club that celebrates sexual diversity and you can also visit it easily since it is located in the historic center of our city.

Midnight craving?

Every night out deserves a few tacos at the end of the party, so the first place that comes to mind is Tacos Gay which, as you can imagine, due to its name, has become a reference for LGBTTTIQ+ people in Guadalajara.

Love for Tequila by train

Did you know that Jalisco is one of the states of the Mexican Republic with the most magical towns? Currently there are 9 and one that lends itself to a special adventure is visiting Tequila by train.

At José Cuervo Express you will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of cocktails, learn about the jima and agave distillation process, receiving, at all times, respectful and special attention.
