What requirements did Guadalajara meet to be part of BestCities?
Being part of the BestCities Global Alliance is an effort to offer the perfect conditions for the development of international events with the highest quality standards.
In addition to the above, the cities that make up the alliance must pass an annual audit to corroborate that they have what is necessary, such as: Infrastructure to host all types of business events, the human resources necessary to cover them, take into consideration the requirements of the customers; In addition to this, there must be business planning, supporting business development and knowledge sharing among BestCities Global Alliance partners.
One of the characteristics that the BestCities Global Alliance most identified to add Guadalajara to the select group was: Having 89 air routes to 56 destinations, national and international, cultural heritage, such as mariachi, a world heritage site by UNESCO. ; our more than ninety museums and art galleries, more than 15,000 restaurants and being the top 1 best travel destination for each season, as noted by Fortune 2020.
